QMS – Quality Management Systems
Program
Summit Machine employs a rigorous
Quality Management Systems Program
utilizing the most advanced techniques
and computerized inspection equipment.
Our QMS program is designed to meet or
exceed the requirements for ISO
9001:2001. At Summit Machine, we
foster a culture of continuous
improvement through constant review of
our processes and operations.
Our well-equipped,
temperature-controlled, quality
assurance room has a computer-controlled
Brown & Sharpe CMM, and a digital
Gagemaster Optical Comparator allowing
us to meet Military Standards Mil Spec.
I-45208-A. In addition, we utilize a
wide variety of micrometers, digital
measuring equipment, and thread gauges.
All of our measurement equipment is
calibrated against NIST traceable
standards and our calibration system is
compliant with ANSI/NCSL Z540-1-1994. Our consistent
attention to quality is unsurpassed and
enables us to maintain ISO 9001:2000
certification.
Summit Machine has the capability of
providing even your warehousing needs.
Blanket-order programs can be put into
place allowing us to stock your
components and assemblies, shipping your
parts only when you need them, at the
time you need them.
